Directions to Rock Mill

At the north end of the Alnwick by-pass on the A1 Trunk road (approx. 36 miles north of Newcastle upon Tyne) turn right onto the B6347 signposted ‘Christon Bank, Seahouses, Rock, Doxford Country Store’. Drive for 1.9 miles and turn right, remaining on the B6347 signposted ‘Seahouses, Christon Bank, Embleton, Newton-by-the-Sea’. Drive for a further 0.9 miles before turning right at the sign for Rock Mill Farm, this time onto a private country lane. Drive for a further 0.3 miles and turn left over a small bridge for Croft Cottage, or 50 yards further on then left for Rock Mill Cottage.
